Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Where any injury
is done by a vessel to any public jetty or bridge —
(a) the
owner of such vessel; and
(b) in
case the injury is caused through the wrongful act or negligence of the master
of such vessel, the master also,
shall be answerable in
damages to Her Majesty for the injury.
(2) The Governor may
make regulations under this Act for the prevention of such injury to any
public jetty or bridge and may impose a penalty not exceeding $500 for the
breach of any such regulations.
