Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Director
shall —
(a)
subject to the Commission, administer the scheme of legal assistance
established by this Act;
(b) as
and when required by or under this Act, provide legal services to assisted
persons and arrange and supervise the provision of such services by legal
practitioners who are members of the staff.
(2) The Director may
do all things that are necessary or convenient to be done for or in connection
with the performance of his functions.
(3) Subject to the
Legal Profession Act 2008 the Director may have articled clerks articled
to him.
