Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) When the term of
office of an elector mayor or president or a councillor is going to end under
the Table to section 2.28 an election to fill the office is to be held.
(2) An election under
this section is called an ordinary election .
(3) This section does
not apply to the office of mayor or president if, under section 2.11, the
next mayor or president is to be elected by the council.
