Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A local government
may decide* to pay the deputy mayor or deputy president of the local
government an allowance of up to the prescribed percentage of the annual local
government allowance to which the mayor or president is entitled under
section 5.98(5).
* Absolute majority required.
(2) An allowance under
subsection (1) is to be paid in addition to any amount to which the
deputy mayor or deputy president is entitled under section 5.98.
