Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) An applicant for a
costs assessment must cause a copy of the application to be given to any law
practice or client concerned or any other person whom the taxing officer
thinks it is appropriate to notify.
(2) A person who is
notified by the applicant under subsection (1) —
(a) is
entitled to participate in the costs assessment procedure; and
(b) is
to be taken to be a party to the costs assessment; and
(c) if
the taxing officer so determines, is bound by the costs assessment.
