Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A local legal
practitioner must give notice in an approved form to the Board if the holder
is —
(a)
convicted of an offence that would have to be disclosed under the admission
rules in relation to an application to admission; or
(b)
charged with a serious offence.
(2) The notice must be
given to the Board within 7 days after conviction or charge.
(3) This section does
not apply to an offence to which Division 7 applies.
(4) A person
contravening subsection (1) is taken to contravene a condition of the
person’s local practising certificate.
