Section 37A(1) is repealed and the following subsection is inserted
instead —
“
(1) In this section —
“lawyer” means an Australian lawyer
within the meaning of that term in the Legal Profession Act 2008
section 3.
”.
(3)
Section 37A(2) is amended by deleting “legal practitioner”
and inserting instead —
“ lawyer ”.
(4)
Section 152(5)(b) is amended by deleting “a legal practitioner (as
defined in the Legal Practice Act 2003 ).” and inserting
instead —
“
an Australian lawyer (within the meaning of that term in
the Legal Profession Act 2008 section 3).
