Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Trustees may
offer and pay a reward to any person who gives information to them or any
member of the staff of the Museum of the commission of an offence against this
Act that leads to the conviction of a person of the offence.
(2) On the conviction
of a person in respect of whom information is given in terms of this section,
the court may, in addition to imposing any penalty or ordering an amount to be
paid under section 46(2), order the person to pay to the Trustees, on
account of any reward that they have paid or are liable to pay, the amount of
the reward or an amount of $50, whichever is the lesser amount.
