MENTAL HEALTH ACT 1996 - SECT 149

149 .         Appeals against SAT’s decisions

        (1)         A person in respect of whom the State Administrative Tribunal makes a decision or order who is dissatisfied with the decision or order may without leave, appeal under section 105 of the State Administrative Tribunal Act 2004 against the decision or order.

        (2)         Any other person who, in the opinion of the Supreme Court, has a sufficient interest in a matter in respect of which the State Administrative Tribunal has made a decision or order may, with the leave of the Court, appeal under section 105 of the State Administrative Tribunal Act 2004 against the decision or order.

        (3)         An appeal or application for leave to appeal under subsection (1) or (2) is to be made in accordance with the rules of court.
