Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A psychiatrist who
makes —
(a) an
order for the detention of a person under section 37(1)(b), 39(1),
43(2)(a), 49(3)(a), 50 or 70(1); or
(b) an
order for the apprehension of a person under section 41; or
(c) a
community treatment order; or
(d) an
order varying or revoking a community treatment order; or
(e) an
order that a person is no longer an involuntary patient,
is to give a copy of
the order to the person concerned.
(2) A senior mental
health practitioner who makes an order for the detention of a person under
section 30(3) is to give a copy of the order to the person.
(3) A person who makes
an order for the apprehension of a person under section 34 is to give a
copy of the order to the person.
