Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Subject to this
section, a person appointed to be an official visitor holds office for such
term, not longer than 3 years, as is specified in the instrument of
appointment and, upon the expiration of the term, is eligible for
reappointment.
(2) The Minister may
remove an official visitor from office on the grounds of —
(a)
mental or physical incapacity to carry out satisfactorily the duties of a
member; or
(b)
neglect of duty; or
(c)
misconduct.
(3) An official
visitor may at any time resign from office by notice in writing delivered to
the Minister.
