Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The manager of a
mine has the management and control of the mine subject to any instructions
given to the manager by or on behalf of the principal employer.
(2) The manager of a
mine must, so far as is practicable —
(a)
manage and control the operation of the mine in accordance with this Act; and
(b)
ensure that every person who is appointed to perform any duty under this Act
understands the nature and scope of that duty; and
(c)
ensure that every person, other than the principal employer and persons acting
on behalf of the principal employer, performs all duties imposed on that
person under this Act.
(3) A manager who
contravenes subsection (2) commits an offence.
