Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor shall
be the Visitor of the University, and has authority, as and when he or she
thinks fit, to do all things that pertain to the office of Visitor of a
university as well as such particular powers as may be conferred upon him by
this Act or any Statute.
(2) For the purposes
of this section the Governor is authorised to act without the requirement of
obtaining the advice and consent of the Executive Council, section 23 of
the Interpretation Act 1918 2 , notwithstanding.
