Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Director
General may designate any officer of the Department as an authorised officer
for the purposes of this Act.
(2) The Director
General is to issue a certificate of authorisation to each person who is
designated as an authorised officer under subsection (1).
(3) An authorised
officer is to produce the certificate whenever required to do so by a person
in respect of whom he or she has exercised, or is about to exercise, any power
under this Act.
(4) Production of a
certificate referred to in subsection (2) in respect of a person is
evidence in any court that the person is duly designated under
subsection (1).
