Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Council must
cause a review of —
(a) the
operation of this Act and the Act of each other participating
jurisdiction that corresponds to this Act; and
(b) the
extent to which the object set out in section 3 of each such Act has been
achieved,
to be undertaken as
soon as possible after the fifth anniversary of the commencement of that
corresponding Act of the Commonwealth.
(2) The report of the
review is to be tabled in each House of the Parliament of Western Australia
within 12 months after the fifth anniversary of that commencement.
(3) As soon as
possible after the end of every 5 year period following the review under
subsection (1), the Council must cause a further review of the kind set
out in subsection (1) to be undertaken.
(4) The report of each
further review is to be tabled in each House of the Parliament of Western
Australia within 12 months after the end of the period to which it
relates.
