Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Minister may,
by notice published in the Gazette , prohibit or restrict in an area or areas
of waters described in that notice and for the period of time specified in
that notice pearling or hatchery activities to the extent specified in that
notice.
(2) Notwithstanding
any other provision of this Act or any licence or permit, a person shall not
contravene a prohibition or restriction made under subsection (1).
Penalty: $10 000.
