3 The State Administrative Tribunal (Conferral of
Jurisdiction) Amendment and Repeal Act 2004 Pt. 5, the State
Administrative Tribunal Act 2004 s. 167 and 169, and the State
Administrative Tribunal Regulations 2004 r. 28 and 42 deal with
certain transitional issues some of which may be relevant for this
Act.
4 The State Administrative Tribunal Regulations 2004
r. 59 reads as follows:
“
59. Pawnbrokers
and Second-hand Dealers Act 1994
(1) In this regulation —
commencement day means the day on which the State
Administrative Tribunal (Conferral of Jurisdiction) Amendment and Repeal
Act 2004 Part 2 Division 94 comes into operation.
(2) On or after the commencement day a clerk of a court of petty sessions
is to cause to be sent to the executive officer of the State Administrative
Tribunal all records under the control of the clerk relating to proceedings
under the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1994 Part 2
Division 3.
”.
5 The Courts Legislation Amendment and Repeal
Act 2004 Sch. 1 cl. 116 (to amend s. 93(1)) and Sch. 2 cl. 37
were repealed by the Criminal Law and Evidence Amendment Act 2008 s.
77(11) and (13).
