Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
make regulations with respect to all matters that are required or permitted by
this Act to be prescribed, or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for
giving effect to the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1) regulations may be made with respect to —
(a) the
appointment of, and fees payable to, officials involved in professional combat
sports;
(b)
ratings of contestants;
(c)
titles for professional combat sports;
(d)
contracts between contestants and industry participants;
(e) rest
periods for contestants; and
(f)
guarantees and other securities to be given by promoters of contests.
