Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) For the purpose of
enabling it to perform its functions under this Act the Authority
may —
(a)
appoint a manager and other staff; and
(b)
engage other persons, whether or not natural persons, to do things on its
behalf.
(1a) The Authority may
designate persons who are Authority officials as inspectors, in which capacity
they have such powers as are prescribed.
(2) Notwithstanding
anything in subsection (1), to the extent that there is in the case of a
person who is appointed under that subsection and who is a member of the
Senior Executive Service within the meaning of the Public Sector Management
Act 1994 3 an inconsistency between this Act and that Act that Act
shall prevail.
