Western Australian Consolidated Acts The functions of the
Commissioner include the following —
(a) to
promote the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Public Sector, having
regard to the principles set out in section 7;
(b) to
advise Ministers, chief executive officers and chief employees of changes,
improvements and management practices which, in the opinion of the
Commissioner, should be implemented in order to improve the efficiency and
effectiveness of the whole or any part of the Public Sector;
(c) to
plan for the future management and operation of the Public Sector;
(d) to
perform other functions that are conferred on the Commissioner under this Act
or any other Act.
