Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) RWWA must pay from
the moneys received by RWWA in respect of totalisator and fixed odds wagering
on sporting events —
(a) all
moneys payable by way of dividends, winnings and refunds in respect of wagers
on sporting events made through or with RWWA; and
(b) the
amount of wagering tax payable under section 102 in respect of wagers
made on sporting events,
and pay 25%, or such
other percentage as may be prescribed, of the balance to the Sports Wagering
Account under section 110A of the Gaming and Wagering Commission
Act 1987 .
(2) Any funds
remaining after the payments referred to in subsection (1) must be dealt
with under section 105 or 106, as the case requires.
