Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Authority
shall not later than 5 years after the commencement of this Act review
the management plan referred to in section 18(1) and, if it considers
that the circumstances so require, prepare amendments to that plan or a
revised management plan for the Island.
(2) The Authority
shall take action under subsection (1) in respect of every management
plan for the time being in force not later than 5 years after the
Minister has under section 23 approved that plan or amendments to it or
its continuation in force without amendment.
(3) If, on a review
under this section, the Authority considers that a management plan does not
require amendment or revision it may determine that the existing plan shall
continue in force without amendment.
(4) In performing its
functions under this section, the Authority shall have the objective of
promoting the purposes set out in section 11(2).
