Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Council may,
from time to time, appoint a committee or committees to investigate and advise
the Council on any aspect of its functions or to carry out such of the
functions of the Council, other than its functions in relation to licences or
registrations, as the Council may with the approval of the Minister delegate
to that committee.
(2) The delegation by
the Council to a committee of any power or duty of the Council does not
relieve the Council of the responsibility for the decisions of that committee.
(3) A committee may
consist of such persons as the Council determines, whether members of the
Council or persons who are not such members, but so that in every case not
less than one member of the Council shall be a member of the committee.
(4) A person appointed
a member of a committee of the Council shall be paid such remuneration and
allowances as the Governor determines.
(5) Each committee
appointed by the Council shall report to the Council on its activities at such
times as the Council directs.
