Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Commissioner
of Police is responsible for the control and regulation of traffic in the
State and for the enforcement of the traffic regulation provisions of this
Act.
(2) The administration
of the licensing provisions of this Act shall be carried out through the
Director General who shall be responsible for the enforcement of those
provisions.
(3) Without limiting
subsection (2), the functions of the Director General include the
exercise and performance of all powers, duties and responsibilities vested in
or imposed on the Director General by this Act.
(4)
Subsection (2) does not affect the powers of a member of the Police Force
in relation to offences, or suspected offences, against the licensing
provisions of this Act.
