Western Australian Consolidated Acts Except as otherwise
provided by a stamp Act, every instrument, and every decree or order of any
court or of the Commissioner of Titles, whereby any property on any occasion,
except a sale or mortgage, is transferred to or vested in any person and every
instrument which is or is intended to be a record or acknowledgement of any
verbal promise or agreement previously made (whether voluntary or upon any
good or valuable consideration other than a bona fide pecuniary consideration)
to give or settle any property in any manner whatsoever is chargeable with
duty as a conveyance or transfer of property.
