Division —
Division 4 insurer means a person, other than
the Insurance Commission of Western Australia, who writes general insurance,
otherwise than as an intermediary of an insurer (including a Division 4
insurer), but who is not authorised under the Insurance Act 1973 of the
Commonwealth and not registered under the Life Insurance Act 1995 of the
Commonwealth.
