Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) On and after the
appointed day a person shall not carry on business, or by any means hold
himself or itself out, as a real estate settlement agent, or a business
settlement agent, or both a real estate settlement agent and a business
settlement agent, unless he or it is licensed as such under this Act and holds
a current triennial certificate in respect of the licence.
Penalty: $20 000.
(2) In
subsection (1) appointed day means such day as is fixed by the Minister
by notice published in the Government Gazette to be the appointed day 2
for the purposes of that subsection.
