SPENT CONVICTIONS ACT 1988 - SECT 9

9 .         Term used: serious conviction

                For the purposes of this Act serious conviction means a conviction in respect of which the sentence imposed is —

            (a)         imprisonment for more than one year or for an indeterminate period; or

            (b)         a fine of $15 000 or more.
