Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) There is to be a
director of the College.
(2) The College may
—
(a)
appoint, and remove, a person as Director; and
(b) fix
and alter the terms and conditions of service of the Director.
(3) The College may
appoint a person to act in the place of the Director while —
(a) the
Director is unable to act by reason of sickness, absence or other cause; or
(b)
there is a vacancy in the office of Director,
and, while so acting,
the person is taken to be the Director.
(4) An act or omission
of a person acting in the place of the Director under an appointment under
subsection (3) is not to be questioned on the ground that the occasion
for his or her acting had not arisen or had ceased.
