Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts The Governor may make
regulations prescribing all matters that are necessary or convenient to be
prescribed for giving effect to the purposes of this Division in respect of
the safety manning of vessels and in particular —
(a)
prescribing safety manning requirements for commercial vessels and providing
for the determination of safety manning requirements for certain commercial
vessels by the Manning Committee;
(b)
providing for the review of certain determinations of manning requirements by
the Manning Committee; and
(c)
providing for exemptions and temporary dispensations from safety manning
requirements under this Division.
