Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts The Governor may make
regulations prescribing the matters that are necessary or convenient to be
prescribed with respect to the saving of life at sea and the provision of life
saving appliances for vessels and in particular —
(a)
prescribing scales of equipment to be provided in each class of vessel;
(b)
prescribing the types of life saving appliances to be provided and standards
to which life saving appliances must conform; and
(c)
providing for and regulating the marking, stowage, and survey of life saving
appliances.
