Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, prescribing all matters
required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed, or necessary or convenient
to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act, and, in
particular —
(a)
providing for the manner of service of notices under this Act; and
(b)
providing for the imposition of penalties not exceeding $500.
(2) Regulations
prescribing matters for the purposes of this Act may prescribe those matters
by reference to regulations for the time being in force under the
Environment Protection (Sea Dumping) Act 1981 of the Commonwealth as in
force for the time being.
