Western Australian Consolidated Acts If any person supplied
with water by the water board —
(a)
does, or causes or permits to be done, anything in contravention of the
provisions of this Act or of the by-laws; or
(b)
omits to do, or prevents being done, anything which under any of those
provisions ought to be done for the prevention of the waste, misuse, or undue
consumption of the water of the water board,
the water board may
(without prejudice to any other remedy against him) cut off any of the pipes
by or through which water is supplied by the water board to him or for his
use, and may discontinue the supply of water to him so long as the cause of
injury remains or is not remedied; but such cutting off shall not affect or
take away his liability to payment of rates.
