            Criminal and Found Property Disposal Regulations 2007


1.       Citation


                  These regulations are the Criminal and Found Property
       Disposal Regulations 2007 1.

2.       Commencement


                  These regulations come into operation as follows:
         (a)      regulations 1 and 2 - on the day on which these
             regulations are published in the Gazette;
         (b)      the rest of the regulations - on the day on which the
             Criminal and Found Property Disposal Act 2006 comes into
             operation.

3.       Terms used in these regulations


                  In these regulations, unless the contrary intention
       appears -
         Act means the Criminal and Found Property Disposal Act 2006.

4.       Amounts prescribed (Act s. 18 and 19)


         (1)      The amount prescribed for the purposes of the Act
       section 18(1)(b)(ii) is $300.

         (2)      The amount prescribed for the purposes of the Act
       section 19(1)(c)(i) is $300.

5.       Value prescribed (Act s. 33)


                  The value prescribed for the Act section 33(1) is $300.
