Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) A licensee must
ensure that a record is kept of —
(a) any
injury to or accident involving an enrolled child during a care session,
including details of the nature and circumstances of the injury or accident;
(b) any
treatment given to an enrolled child who is injured or becomes ill during a
care session; and
(c) the
death of an enrolled child during a care session, including details of the
circumstances in which the child died.
(2) A licensee must
ensure that —
(a) a
record under subregulation (1)(a) or (b) concerning a child is
retained until the child reaches 24 years of age; and
(b) a
record under subregulation (1)(c) is retained for a period of
6 years from the day on which the record was made.
Penalty: a fine of $3 000.
