Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) The commission,
acting as the council of a new town for which a town clerk has not been
appointed, may appoint the person holding office as the town clerk of the City
of Perth to act as the town clerk of the new town.
(2) While the
appointment has effect, the person appointed to act as the town clerk has all
the functions of, and may be regarded for the purposes of the principal Act
as, the town clerk.
(3) The appointment
has no effect after a person is appointed to the office of town clerk of the
new town.
