Citation These regulations are the Electricity Industry (Tariff Equalisation) Regulations 2006. 2. Commencement These regulations come into operation on 1 April 2006. 3. Timing of determinations under section 129D(1) (1) In this regulation - determination means a determination under section 129D(1) of the Act. (2) The first determination is to be made before 1 January 2007. (3) The second determination is to be made at an interval of not more than 3 years after the first determination. (4) Each subsequent determination is to be made at an interval of not more than 5 years after the last determination. 4. Payment of tariff equalisation contributions under section 129F (1) In this regulation - tariff equalisation contribution and Tariff Equalisation Fund have the meanings given to those terms in section 129B of the Act. (2) Each tariff equalisation contribution is to be paid into the Tariff Equalisation Fund in instalments. (3) The amount of each instalment is to be determined by the Treasurer. (4) An instalment is to be paid before the end of each month of the period in respect of which the tariff equalisation contribution is payable.
