Western Australian Consolidated Regulations In these regulations,
unless the contrary intention appears —
authorised person means a presiding officer or a
person performing the duties of, or exercising the powers of, a presiding
officer under section 105 of the Act;
ballot paper envelope means an envelope referred
to in section 90(4)(c)(ii) or 90(4b)(b) of the Act or in
regulation 14(1)(c), 14(3)(b) or 15(b);
issuing officer means a person referred to in
section 90(1a) of the Act;
record means any thing or process —
(a) upon
or by which information is recorded or stored; or
(b) by
means of which a meaning can be conveyed by any means in a visible or
recoverable form,
whether or not the use or assistance of some
electronic, electrical, mechanical, chemical or other device or process is
required to recover or convey the information or meaning.
