Western Australian Consolidated Regulations For the definition of
appropriate enforcement agency in section 8 of the Act, a local
government is the appropriate enforcement agency for the purposes of a
provision —
(a) if
the CEO is not the appropriate enforcement agency for the purposes of the
provision under regulation 4; and
(b) to
the extent to which the provision has effect in relation to —
(i)
a food business that is conducted at premises in the
local government’s district; or
(ii)
animal food processing premises in the local
government’s district; or
(iii)
a retail pet meat shop in the local government’s
district.
