electrical heater provided in a public area of a public building shall be
installed in a fixed position and so every part of the heating element is not
less than 2 100 mm from the level of the floor and not less than 600 mm
from any ceiling that is made of a combustible material.
(2) Any oil, fuel or
electrical fan type heater shall be fitted with over temperature protection.
