Western Australian Consolidated Regulations Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) These are the
Irrungadji Community By-laws 2005 .
(2) These by-laws have
been made by the Committee of Management of the association called the
Irrungadji Group Association Incorporated and approved by the Governor.
(3) The Irrungadji
Group Association Incorporated is an Aboriginal community to which the
Aboriginal Communities Act 1979 applies.
(4) As that Act says,
these by-laws apply to you if you are on the community lands of that
Aboriginal community and it does not matter if you are a member of the
community or not.
(5) Under that Act the
Governor has said which lands are the community lands of the community.
(6) You are a member
of the community if you are a member of the association under its
constitution.
(7) These by-laws are
in addition to the laws of Western Australia.
