Western Australian Consolidated Regulations Each responsible
person at a mine must ensure that before a winding engine is used at the
mine —
(a) it
has been tested to the satisfaction of the State mining engineer;
(b) an
inspector has verified that it is capable of performing in accordance with its
design and within the limitations that apply in relation to its working; and
(c) the
inspector has made a record in the winding engine log book that the
verification referred to in paragraph (b) has taken place.
