MINES SAFETY AND INSPECTION REGULATIONS 1995 - REG 11.59

11.59 .         Cage and skip attachments — records

                The manager of a mine must ensure that a record is kept of all shaft conveyance attachments used in a mine and that the record includes — 

            (a)         the name of the shaft or winze in which the attachment is used;

            (b)         the location of that attachment on the conveyance, in the case of multi‑rope attachments;

            (c)         the compartment of the shaft in which the attachment is used;

            (d)         the identification number of the attachment;

            (e)         the date on which the attachment was installed in service;

            (f)         the dates of the examinations, cleaning and oiling of attachment required by these regulations;

            (g)         the date and result of each testing of the attachment required by these regulations; and

            (h)         the date of the removal of the attachment from service.
