MINES SAFETY AND INSPECTION REGULATIONS 1995 - REG 9.32

9.32 .         Removal of asbestos

                Each responsible person at a mine must ensure that if any asbestos removal work is carried out at the mine — 

            (a)         the work is carried out in accordance with the procedures specified in the “Code of Practice for the Safe Removal of Asbestos” 2 ^nd Edition [NOHSC:2002 (2005)] declared by the NOHSC and published in April 2005; and

            (b)         the district inspector is notified in writing before the work commences.
