Maximum periods of inspection of registered classified plant

2	Pressure vessels categorized as hazard level A, B, C or D according to the criteria identified in AS 3920: Part 1, with the exception of —  (a)         air or gas receivers with a maximum         operating pressure of 210 kPa or less; (b)         air or gas receivers that have a capacity not         exceeding 0.15 cubic metres; (c)         pressure vessels fitted to mobile earthmoving         equipment; (d)         pressure vessels fitted on a train; (e)         gas cylinders covered by AS 2030; (f)         serially produced vessels covered by         AS 2971; (g)         pneumatic loaders of explosives.	3 years
3	Tower cranes	Prior to use after each jump or one year whichever is less
4	Lifts	2 years
5	Hoists, with platform movement in excess of 2.4 metres and designed to lift people (Powered)	2 years
6	Boom‑type elevating work platforms	2 years
7	Gantry cranes with a safe working load greater than 5 tonnes or which are designed to handle molten metal or dangerous goods	4 years
8	Bridge cranes with a safe working load greater than 10 tonnes or which are designed to handle molten metal or dangerous goods	4 years
9	Vehicle hoists	2 years
10	Mobile cranes with a safe working load greater than 10 tonnes	2 years.
