Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) A person who
designs plant for use at a workplace must ensure that the person who
manufactures the plant is provided with sufficient information to enable the
plant to be manufactured in accordance with the design specifications and, as
far as practicable, provide information relating to —
(a) the
purpose for which the plant is designed; and
(b)
testing or inspections to be conducted in relation to the plant; and
(c)
installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, cleaning, transport,
storage and (where plant is capable of being dismantled) dismantling of the
plant; and
(d)
systems of work necessary for the safe use of the plant; and
(e)
knowledge, training or skill necessary for persons undertaking inspection and
testing of the plant; and
(f) the
current design registration number (if any) issued by the Commissioner under
regulation 4.10 or by a regulatory authority for that kind of plant; and
(g)
emergency procedures relating to the plant,
to accompany the plant
when it is manufactured, supplied, installed or erected, inspected and used at
a workplace.
(2) A person who
designs plant for use at a workplace must ensure that the information referred
to in subregulation (1) is in, or has been translated into, the English
language before providing the information.
Penalty applicable to subregulations (1) and
(2) for a person who commits the offence as an employee: the
regulation 1.15 penalty.
Penalty applicable to subregulations (1) and
(2) in any other case: the regulation 1.16 penalty.
