POISONS REGULATIONS 1965 - REG 43

43 .         Pharmacists’ authority to manufacture etc. Sch. 8 poisons

        (1)         Until in any particular case such authority is withdrawn, every pharmacist holding a pharmacist’s licence to sell poisons under these regulations is hereby authorised, subject to the conditions, limitations and restrictions imposed by the CEO, to procure and to manufacture at his registered premises in the ordinary course of his retail business any preparation, admixture, or extract of any poison included in Schedule 8, and to carry on at his registered premises the business of dispensing or compounding any poison included in Schedule 8, and also of retailing and supplying a poison included in Schedule 8, but only to persons licensed or authorised under these regulations to be in possession of or to procure the poison included in Schedule 8.

        (2)         The authority under this regulation does not in any way entitle the holder to procure, manufacture, sell, distribute, supply, or have in his possession any poison included in Schedule 8 in any quantity greater than is permitted by the CEO.
