Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) A Local Planning
Strategy may be amended by amendment prepared by the relevant local government
and approved by the Commission.
(2) A Local Planning
Strategy may be revoked —
(a) by a
subsequent Local Planning Strategy prepared, endorsed and notified under
regulation 12B that is expressed to supersede the existing Local Planning
Strategy; or
(b) with
the approval of the Commission, by the publication of a notice of revocation
by the local government once a week for 2 consecutive weeks in a newspaper
circulating in the Scheme area.
(3)
Regulation 12B, with any necessary changes, applies to the amendment of a
Local Planning Strategy in the same way as it applies to a Local Planning
Strategy prepared under regulation 12A(2).
