² The short title of the Local Government Act 1960 was amended to the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1960 by the Local Government Act 1995 Sch. 9.2 cl. 2.

³ Under the Local Government Act 1995 Sch. 9 cl. 3(2) a reference to a district of a municipality under the Local Government Act 1960 may, when the context requires, be read as if it had been amended to include or be a reference to a district of a local government under the Local Government Act 1995 (see also note 2).
