Western Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) Subject to any
conditions attached thereto and to subregulation (2), an ordinary
taxi‑car licence shall be valid for a period of 12 months from the
date of issue or renewal.
(1a) A temporary
taxi‑car licence is valid for any period of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks as is
specified by the Minister in the licence.
(1b) Subject to any
conditions attached thereto and to subregulation (2), a temporary
taxi‑car licence is valid for the period specified therein and shall
while in force, have effect as an ordinary taxi‑car licence in respect
of the area in which it is issued.
(2) A taxi‑car
licence remains valid so long, only, as a vehicle licence remains in force
under the Road Traffic Act 1974 in respect of the taxi‑car.
